Slain isn't very overpowered (compared to certain other classes), he has a limit so his attacks aren't severely spammable and his health isn't too high. A lot of other classes have much more spammable and powerful moves, better health and mobility.

However, he does have the best rocket-jump in the game (rj + dash hop) but he has to sacrifice a lot because of his low hp, so I wouldn't consider him OP.

He's still the best class in my eyes though hehehehehe

TV is basically everything that makes soldier great in normal gg2 supercharged. The rockets do more damage, have more knockback, faster rocket jumps, the angel thing for dashes in/out. He just has so many options and is super versatile.

Xan is extremely easy to use for spam, the splash range with the pellets is ridiculous, he can make some pretty bs shots due to the curve, he reloads very fast for a burst damage weapon, he has a close range fall back option in the shotgun, and he has a very high damage output on both weapons.

Slain is like 2.2 sniper and 2.1 soldier mixed together which is just really ridiculous in the hands of people who can aim (fucking tank).


Also the reason I kept :z2: ing was because that's the voice command for "thanks" in tf2 which is basically the only command I use and I spam it all the time, so I forgot it's something different here. And my name was from a couple matches before, I didn't actually want you to switch to drool.

Also the drop down platforms don't reset the hitstun/movestatus change on rockets and those types of weapons, so if you get hit in such a way that you're pushed very slowly by the rocket you'll be stuck at that speed until you get down and hit the real ground again.

KZ may be a trench coat clad drug dealer, but she's no Commie Red!

If there HAD to be a counterpart for KZ on Red, it would be Leon S. Kennedy with three green herbs, a TMP and his Silver Ghost pistol. Reason being is that the RE series is one of my favorite franchises, and is where I got inspiration for my equipment. The Sig and MP5 are both in RE5, which was a little nod to that.

Ah, I see. I knew you didn't want me to switch to Drool, but I figured you were :z2:'ing because I wasn't healing you fast enough or something. TV is OP, I'm not gonna lie.. but I thought his hammers were the same. My bad! I agree with Tank too, as I said earlier, Slain can be very VERY OP in the right hands, but overall he's pretty balanced.

Marine already has a stimpack skill. This guy is really just a run of the mill character with multiple weapons. Not considering adding this guy.

tv, xan, and slain are op

TV's hammers are really just retextured rockets, are they not?

Xan's.. well yes, he can be a little OP at times, but I think that's because he's very easy to master. I don't believe there's many ways to improve him.

Techno Viking's hammers bounce on hit and do way more damage than rockets if multiple bounces hit the same target. It can do 70+ damage on a single target, and scales with however many people you hit.

Xan is exactly where I want him to be balance wise. Good hp, very high damage, long range weaknesses.

About best rocketjumps:
1. Anna has the best sticky jump in the game. only does 10 self-damage, and since I increased the general terminal velocity for all characters (max 15 instead of max 10), she goes much farther and faster. I actually have a super secret technique with her that I guess I'll spoil right now. Lay a sticky where you want to SJ. Get on top of it and press Up+Down+M1+M2 while aiming downwards all at the same time. You'll detonate and use the petal shotgun at the same time and go up an insane height; you can go from the bottom of deck_16 up to the mid.

2. Techno Viking has the second best rocket jump. He takes less self-damage than Slain and has more HP to run through. His Techno Strike (M2) goes further while in rocketjump moveStatus; he can go from base to base on 2dfort and truefort in a single jump.

3. Slain has the third best rocketjump for the reasons that Tank pointed out. Acidlead also has a decent rocketjump (meatball jump?) because he barely takes any damage.

I fixed this for 1.09

btw, 1.09 is primed for release sometime this weekend depending on how much work i get done on my essays and shit.

please point out any bugs or oversights or balance considerations (as if i listen to these lul) you have before then.

no it's because I had plans to add 1 forum character for each team. and then blu dragon added the illusionist, so i followed that up with adding Acidlead.

- added Kid's Trip Mine (Q). Proximity based with a short detonation delay.
- fixed some destroy event errors
- you should be properly credited when destroying buildings now
- fixed some tdm scoring logic
- modified tdm_metrostation; it's a lot smaller now
- fixed a few tiny holes in the no attack zone in tdm_bunker
- samurai 8 way dash (direction + space)
- can no longer get finished off while in grace period
- can no longer score off of team kills
- changed concussive shell and ice bolt (sorc's blizzard) to use hasteMod to actually slow
