Don't worry man.

I'll probably look at wednesday or thursday for 1.07 fixing as much stuff as possible. Reisen and Illusionist should be playable. And maybe a sneak peek at Acidlead's character sprite (hint: i've already hinted at it in this thread).

Everyone chime in on the balance issues for those that participated in the PUG.
- It was really laggy for me when there was 6+ players on both teams. Should have used the main comp and not the laptop. :[|]
- It seems to me that most people think Red is superior. Techno Viking OP(?), maybe a slight damage/hp nerf, and change his longboat to not be an instant kill. To compensate I could make the threshold to use the longboat lower (like 35%)
- Instead of nerfing Red classes, I'd rather buff the shit out of Blue classes. Maybe Xan overall damage buff? Sorceress MP regen buff? Maiden buff?
- Is Saniman damage to firing ratio too extreme?

Red and blue are both scary with the right combinations. Also, does blue have a dedicated healer? :drool: warrior seems kinda lacking...

Maybe put a limit to the amount of times Techno's hammer can bounce?
Kind of want to say that it was Technoviking that made all the difference in most of the matches.

Definately buff Mojo's Anubis autogun.  So far it isn't doing anything to help out any situation.
IF possible, can it maybe shoot out a laser similar to that of Mojo's Mech or Dr Doom's gun or at least shoot in all directions including up or down?

Meower could maybe have his knives shoot out into a slightly tighter cone and have his ball do burning damage if it doesn't bounce off of anything else first.

Can't really think of anything else that would need much balancing.  Blue team seems alright to me.  I guess there were just more people playing Neutral classes than Blue really.

 :drool: gets uber much faster, it's just that Iji + Techno Viking is such a huge AOE damage threat, that he's almost never safe.

One thing that I did notice for the illusionist with the whole balance thing, he's more or less untouchable when psycho and possibly the healer are with him. Would it be possible to add a slow down to the heal rate with him?

Techno's longboat definitely is a bit OP in the right situation, it's like a massive half screen sized stab that can wipe out the entire enemy team's push by just launching himself at them and flattening them. It's twice as effective in TDM matches for that reason. I like your solution though.

I really think that having Snare able to move mid bite is OP, it's already hard to catch him because he can just flip away into the air where nobody can hit him, and he's invisible so it's easy to miss him as well. Maybe you can lower the damage the bite does when in mid-air to something like 50?

The other red characters are fine in my opinion. As for Saniman's fire beam, it's ok to me because, like Iji's cannon, to get the full effect all the beam bits have to hit you in a straight line. Still, maybe you can lower the distance it covers by maybe one or two beam parts?

I think it was laggy for everyone due to there being so many particles and projectiles that go with all the characters, like the smoke give away that Sheppard has, or all those fire effects.

I just got an idea. What if Drool Warrior gets a spit attack that buffs damage like the Jarate from TF2? As you said, it's hard for him to survive against certain characters, but if he has the ability to buff his own damage - or the damage of his teammates - he has a definite chance of survival! Oh! Or maybe if you hold S down, he makes a drool trail behind him that makes his teammates slide quickly forwards? Slow classes would be able to keep up with DW and the rest of the push against INSteam. On inclines, it could be used to "catapult slide" your team up into the air and ahead, Megaman X style.

Maybe enemies caught in a spit bubble take extra damage isntead of that spit idea I had? I still like the drool trail speed up though.

While I've never played TF2's Natasha, I can still see what you're saying, it's a buff too great.. But Drool Warrior himself still can't really hold himself in a fight, and he's still hard to protect. Maybe with that healing bubble, giving him the ability to heal groups of teammates at a great distance, will be a greater overall buff for the team as a whole?
