Not really waste of time.
Like Roboform , but in VB.NET

If I wanted I could do it in 10 minutes, leave my PC on for an hour and BAM.

all of your alts can be easily deleted because they would all have the same ip.

I don't think you're smart enough to program a bot that creates hundreds of alternate accounts all with different proxies.

Instead of a poll, just make them do it by post and make a minimum amount (something like 50 posts?) to vote.

Public polls aren't a good source of information, trust me. Polls like that can easily be rigged. It wouldn't be a bad idea if the voters need to PM one of the judges with their choice. Keeps the anonymity and prevents cheating.
