Client-side plugins directory [done]
« on: May 19, 2017, 02:15:44 pm »

Basically just like www.ganggarrison.com/plugins but for client-side ones. This would let new users be sure if a certain plugin works or it's outdated. If you need a moderator for that, I could help
Because you're randomly going to trust me right?

INB4 WAREYA LOCKS

But this actually sounds like a good idea though. There's lots of plugins for GG2 and a list for them would be better instead of browsing the entire Plugins board.
How I imagine this:

(PLUGIN NAME) | CREATOR: (name) | WORKS: :c8:/ :c9: | RELEASE: (date) | THREAD: (link)

Maybe a stickied forum thread would work for this. The server-sent plugins are different in that the list needs to be maintained in a format that GG2 can directly use.

1.That wouldn't let them be ordered by name/date/status
2.It would get messy as new plugins are made
3.That could be used to let plugin makers update their client-sided plugins automatically
4.As for most of my proposals, this is for the new player that doesn't like to dive deep in a forum in hope of finding a working plugin
5.Pls  :z7:

Sorry for bump, but I still really believe in this idea, so I made an HTML page to show how awesome this could be. If the idea is accepted I'll add sorting to the website
I really hope you like it

Nice work  :c8: especially with the sorting.
At first I thought of posting a request of sorting by date, but here there's a Working/Download sort so we don't really need dates.

Admins please add this.

Now there are no reasons not to do this
Client-side directory manager
Made in Java 8, can probably run in older versions

Known issues
-Some parts are in italian
- :z2: bubbles are no longer supported because of booleans, but you can write "idk" in the active tag and it'll save it as not working  :c9:(For the three of you that know what this means, I used the ternary operator)
-Some errors are not accounted for
