The weapon people seem to hate the most is the Gauss Rifle; coupled with 10 luck and decent agility, Vault Boy can dish out copious amounts of damage within second. The amount of hate for him is disappointing since I only just began to enjoy playing as him; his diversity in weaponry and stats  means consistenly differing gameplay and strategy.

Rebel said he'd lower that weapon's stats a bit, it definitely has the highest potential to be OP of all his weapons.

Why would I take offence to that?

Some people are sensitive and take offence to having their opinion challenged in any way, he was just letting you know he didn't mean it personally.

Would it be against the spirit of the class if Vault Boy had a limited budget of points for stats?

He would still keep the "roll with what you got" aspect, but you would never get a build that's too unbalanced.

Also, in death match, it would be great if I could check my stats when I'm under the affects of spawn invulnerability.

Yeah, but wouldn't there be issues with the first stats usually getting the best and then the other ones suffer?

Not going to do that because the mod is about NO HOLDS BARRED COMBAT, not moderated and balanced fair fights.

why not at least make the stats average follow some normal distribution from min to max (Assuming 1-10 but bad memory for this game)

Luck balance systems are extremely artificial and extremely fair at the same time.
I always wanted to do that with a game, just to see how it came out. Something with an invisible luck budget that would go up when you're unlucky and go down when you're lucky. Would be wierd.

Here is an idea. If you have 8 to 10 in more than 2 stats you have a sort of Achilese Heel like you tuant after each kill or you get healed by everything at a slower rate.

But there shouldn't be a Juggernaut class that is unmached by all. Vault Boy with the Gauss Rifle and high Luck and Agility is that Juggernaut.

Rebe's already said he'd lower the speediest stats for Vault Boy, including reload speed, so lets see how that turns out in the next update before we start throwing him more suggestions, since we don't know how much these changes will affect the game yet.

dante is a juggernaut class, but he just takes a lot of skill to use. Same with vein. Sorceress is on metrostation; I routinely get x kills 0 deaths on that map. Certain medibuddy combinations are unstoppable.

The only reason vault boy seems more cheap is becaise he's easy to use. I'm not going to nerf him with normalized distribution, because I feel like that takes away the fun of rolling super powerful stats. As has been already said, I've nerfed some of his weapon stats.

But see anybody can be an "ultimate class" if you have enough skill. What I'm saying it takes to little skill to use a hitscan weapon (cough cough Gause Rifle) that deals ridiculous damage.

As for Medibuddy I do agree there needs to be some class that specializes in taking out medibuddies and their Medic.

You just repeated what I posted. I already know about this and have already nerfed damage, refire and reload on some of his stronger weapons.

There are classes that specialize in taking down medibuddies. Iji and Maiden in Black are two of the best.
