There has to be a limit to the randomness if it's going to affect characters. If it's just an aesthetic thing, then that's fine. Just provide me with whatever sprite you want to use.

Well, I was thinking making it like a thunder storm, so random bolts fall every once in a while, but I guess its your decision to make em do damage or not. also, if it has elevators, do I leave the bg part empty and provide the elevator platform sprite?

I want to make a new map. People, give me suggestions on game type, entity stuff to use (so far I've got elevators, one way platforms/walls, drop down platforms, health pickups, traps/activators, aesthetic things), and theme.

Personally I like TDM, because the flow of the map can be determined by the placement of health, and that it doesn't depend on someone playing a healer class. However, a KOTH or CP map with health would be cool too.

This is all personal preference, but I like the idea of a large DKOTH map with health pickups, set in a bright sunny canyon like Blood Gulch from Halo 1. You could have climbable trees with ladders on them to jump around on, and a mine underneath it all for added exploration and routes..!

The maps are very odd and the character selection screen is cramped when I go into ctrl modo
Plus I randomly get errors when I open it

probably some draw errors when you scroll over certain classes. i'll look into it, as I'm done adding classes now.

I'll unspoiler the latest version, but I'm very apprehensive about adding chat.

i set a limit for myself, so i don't just keep adding stuff.

I had an idea for entities. Context sensitive zones where you can press E (call for healer by default) to activate something. I could do cool things like lever activated traps, doors, catapults, springboards, weapons, etc.

Now I could quite easily help you in that regard. I'm heavy on conceptualizing and I have enough experience to know how to make this stuff. My only drawback is not having a full time computer.
