Sorry for not having anything to give you today, Rebel.. Neu had a court date on Monday, Sunday he was sick, and yesterday was Valentines, so we haven't had time to do anything. Tonight though, in one hour we got the pistol and MP5 down just right!

The MP5 now shoots much much slower. Instead of blasting away like Rosie's rifle or Vein's minigun, it shoots at 3/4th's of that firing speed, though with way increased range and one point of damage increase. It's still an automatic, and it still fires a good while, but the time between shots is so long (compared to other automatics) that I'm actually a little worried that it might be UNDERpowered. I guess we'll have to see the next time we playtest it..! When crouched though, the distance ups just a tiny bit, the rate of fire drops a little lower, but the rounds shoot perfectly straight like the Sig since you're now taking your time to make accurate shots (which is what she's supposed to be doing when crouching).

MP5 has become KZ's main weapon, no doubt about it. The Sig's range is now pitiful when uncrouched, acting like little more than a slightly longer range melee weapon with a DPS potential similar to that of the super sledge (I think, it's very high as we both know). The only thing it's good for when uncrouched is dealing with super close range targets like Chrysalid or E. Honda, the latter of whom's slaps have a slightly longer range than her pistol. It now fires perfectly straight though, and when crouched, it'll shoot the same distance as a spy's revolver. However, to compensate for the ability to shoot further and faster rounds when crouched, the rate of fire is no longer per-click, taking just a SMIDGE less time to fire as the Spy's pistol. It now does 15 damage as originally proposed, but until we get crouching coded in, the sig's way too nerfed right now with its dorky range and perfectly straight firing. I MIGHT increase the distance just a tad and lower the damage to 12.. You'll see though, I think you'll like it, and of course it's still open for change!

Tomorrow we'll work on the reloading for both the guns, and possibly code in the crouching state.

Will crouching actually change the sprite so that KZ becomes smaller and harder to hit? and will you be able to crouch in mid-air?

Yes to the first, no to the second. You'll only be able to crouch when on the ground, and crouching makes her hitbox half of what it normally is. Certain places in certain maps make that ability very useful, like the little windows on Classicwell's middle section. It would be hard to hit her whens he's crouched up in one of those, and with her pistol's enhanced distance, she has the ability to pepper you safely from inside it. Her pistol won't be able to outright kill you when crouching, but with its damage output it'll still require you to dodge the shots.

Maybe trying to crouch in mid-air will allow her to quickly dive down to the floor at a slant, sorta like Super Mario 64's lunge?

i've already figured out crouching. it's not that difficult.

That they do, and they are very scary at close range. I suppose it's a good thing they're mobile, as they need to dodge all of red's bullets to get to melee range.

i actually think it's a wash.
rebel == meower, both have double jump, ways to boost speed (charge, slide kick)
snare == sorceress, cloaked gravity flip is very fast vertically and nigh undetectable, teleport is higher risk in combat and also very fast
vein == bo jackson, bike is actually about as fast as bo jckson horizontally, latter can be injured to slow down
other misc things:
anna sticky jump
techno hammer jump/ techno strike
saniman wall walk

I do have a wallmask, this is like a sneak peek. Im making it team death match, I got inspiration from hyrule temple on smash bros.
