Mine too, especially this one TDM map that looks like Planet Zebes, with a lava lake and a whole bunch of purple orbs for health pickups. That one was so bad for my compy I could barely move at all, it even gave me the, "Windows Virtual Memory minimum too low" message. It sapped ALL of my compy's strength!

Pssh. I get that message everytime I play GG2...or any other game for that matter.

did you try turning off the map animations kz? it's under the options i believe. although, i'm pretty sure it won't make much of a difference.

i think the reason it runs slowly on less-than-average computers is because it's such a colourful and large map, that it fills up all your vram. not sure exactly how much memory it takes up, but i imagine it being upscale x6 and always having to be in cache would affect performance quite heavily.

I kind of enjoy the two tdm maps I have seen so far.  Then again, I don't really get any lag from it unless it is coming from the server connection.

I don't see that option anywhere, just the normal options.. though for some reason, I'm unable to click on anything normally after the particles option, I have to click the second option after whatever I want to change (like, to turn killcams off, I have to click on v sync). Maybe the option's there, but it's not showing up?

To be sure, I like them a lot! They're very fun, though most of them are clearly designed for larger groups of people than INSmod usually gets, and that shock room on that one deathmatch map is a tad annoying. Maybe the creator of that one could make some kind of flashing warning light three seconds before the electricity turns on?

Oddly enough, clicking on vsync does change what it says for killcam regarding it being enabled/disabled but it doesn't actually change it unless you click on the killcam button itself.  Which in turn will do the same kind of thing clicking on vsync did.  Change the written setting of the button above it but not actually effect it.

I'm the creator of all the tdm maps, and there are actually 3 (tdm_deck_16, tdm_bunker, tdm_norfair). tdm_norfair wallmask was provided by Yukoviz, and I did all the art and added the entities.

I might have messed up some of the option stuff. I'll take a look at it.

Hey Rebel, are you taking suggestions for in-game characters? If so, will you consider Alcatraz from Crysis 2? I see that you combine class abilities with some of your characters, and I think Alcatraz will be a cool addition. He can jump very high with his armor, which can make him partly a Runner, but his suit also has a cloaking feature, so maybe he could be a Runner/Infiltrator combo? In case you haven't played Crysis 2, here's Alcatraz:

I think he isn't, but he suggested a "FaNS Mod" where you could contribute your own content. Maybe if that project gets actually started ?
