Chris P Bacon found rented a shell to host the lobby.
Basically, the problem is close to being solved.

Well, if you wanna write a way to fall back to mine if the main goes down, that would be okay with me. But since I personally have no experience that could contribute to the project, I just wanted to find a way to help, and since one of my specialties is network administration, and I have a pile of expensive server hardware that Boeing threw away...

Okay, new question: The hell is with the lag on every server I join? A 20/5 should be plenty sufficient in theory.

It could be a shitty server.

GGForever and Bacontown are both good, along with Bassland when he hosts.

Or try turning off particle effects.
