Make player limit 15 and make the respawn time 3-5 seconds.

Like we need another 15 limit server =/ Try 21, or maybe 19. Agreein' with the respawn time now though, it should help with lag if there's less going on at once and hopefully cut down on rocketspam.

Yes we do. 20 player is gay; ignoring lag and graphic lag.

This game was built for 8~15. It should stay that way.

Yes, 20+ players is stupid. But it's fun once in a while.
Just ignore the objectives and try to get as many kills as possible.
Or do other shit, it won't matter because the match will end in a stalemate anyway.

Being trapped in your own spawn by Heavies and Engies, which always seems to happen on this server.
Oh, and CP maps.

We actually do. It allows for all servers to be fleshed out. It's kinda hard to summarize this in a sentence, so bare with me. If there are 3 servers, two are 15 limit, and one is 24 limit, and the 24 limit one is completely full, the other two are more likely than not half-full or so. If the 24 count server was only 15, it would allow for all the servers to be full and played to their full potential. This happens a lot, by the way, when your server's up. It attracts 24 players, meanwhile the other servers, like /v/idya, struggle to fill the limit.

Also, the reason 15 (Or in reality, 7 on 7) works so well gameplay-wise is because it's the perfect balance between game size, graphical efficiency, and strategy. It's enough people to make the game frenetic and fun, but it isn't overwhelming on most computers, and the player count is just small enough to have communication and strategy occur on a team-level (Not just between two or three players).


Dr. Random also said the game was built for 8-15 players. This is a fact that can be inferred from the maps in-game, which aren't large at all. It's also reinforced by how strategy within the game breaks down past about 16 players. From then on, it becomes a spamfest.

So yeah. 15-player limit servers are optimal, and we could always use more.

Playing with less than 10 people can be fun, since then you can get to know who you can trust on your team to help you with rushes, and who you can't trust because they're too busy being useless.

No, but seriously. The only thing that bothers me about Instant respawn is no Killcam. Please reinstate the Killcam, at least.
