because someone needs to host for east coast

this will be up as much as i can manage, but it's far from a dedicated 24/7 server: running off university ethernet so it'll be down holidays, winter/spring/summer break, or whenever i'm busy/away.

since this is at the moment the only consistent server for some portion of the active playerbase i might as well let people discuss (read: complain about) server settings and maps.

personally i prefer a large rotation and the current settings. no a/d cp. arena is there by 'popular demand' but i'm not opposed to removing it.

make suggestions and i'll check back in on the thread eventually (^x

huh i wonder where the bottleneck is, if u try speedtesting at like 5am is it still 300 up and down?

i remember seeing 900ish on your connection few years back
either way still godtier

plz remove <code> tags from maprotation thx they're really hard to read
also i really really recommend taking out these maps

Usually the bottleneck is when the user that's hosting is also needing the laptop for other content, such as homework or entertainment

@spazz i meant bandwidth bottleneck, he's on gigabit and it should be actual gigabit
so it's probably other umd kids using the connection

heenok is the only one who likes arena_greengreens so i can take out that and lumberyard.
i guess i've seen enough complaints about ctf_lightpostv2 and koth_double_v2 that i can take those out too.

personally i'm okay with the cp and dkoth maps, ctf_doublecross, ctf_waterfront_v2, and ctf_zvector_v2, but i don't like ctf_waterway or koth_gartiex.

i think ctf_conduit is fine but it seems disliked.
re-added a fixed version of ctf_hindsight_v2.
i'm hesitant to put in 3 copies of koth_harvest and someone said koth_karvest makes their eyes hurt.

Would you mind adding koth_marine_hd?

yep, i use this computer for everything.

change sniper classlimit to 1
