Probably not compatible with 2.8.5 right now because of how much code the plugin has to change, sorry.

Ensure compatibility with 2.8.5. Seems like nothing important changed after all. Adds a framerate counter for fun. Read the OP, download the dll.

It seems to make the game generally run a little smoother, yeah. I'll play with it for the next couple of days and see if any bugs pop up.

Double checking: is this the latest version of the plugin posted in

because there was a very similar bug that I fixed by this point.

The GML file should be ~33KB.

Updated the GML in the OP just now to make sure I'm getting useful reports.

I have put the .gml in the plugins folder and I have the .dll in the... just sitting in the same folder which has the .exe and the rest of the other folders.

I haven't been able to test it yet because there are no servers.

Has it already been mentioned that the tracer following a sniper shot does not appear while the .dll and .gml are active?

You cannot see where your shooting.

Bug report:
-Sniper can't move right while scoping (while unscoped the movement is still strange though)
-In the class selection screen the spy animation is really fast
