On the Wingman item I checked crouch.png and last 2 frames for both red and blue had opposite team's colors in them... Is that right? Correct me if I am wrong.

It is right that red4:blue4, his item is correct in format :)
Check original sprites(Characters.zip) if you're confused.

I'm not sure, but how about changing colors of it?
primary colors usually don't go without GG2's original sprites.
Taking some time to find a exact color is what is needed for you. Start it by lowering its hue, I suggest.

I don't know what you obviously think, but I think that with a whole set on only few minor pixels will tell the difference from red or blue. So if A Demo Randomly Jumps in I think it would be hard to tell team... ( My Opinion )

STAY SPOOPY AND UPLOAD MORE ITEMS!!!


P.S. if you load run animation in item tester and turn on spooky scary skeletons music (original), then skeltal will walk in tact to music
