DOWNLOAD TESTING BUILDSo I finally got this to a point where I'm happy to show it. Hope you like it, please give feedback. Might still contain some bugs and stuff so be aware of that. Remember to post any errors with information about when/why they happened.
Currently I haven't added any of the optional things to menus, but you can edit them in
"ES.ini". For pubs you can skip the ready-up with an option in the .ini or the command
"autostart".
Open the console with F3.
Use chat_v2 plugin for chatting for now.
ChangesCharacter Balance:ScoutReduced the randomness of the speed of bullets from the scattergun, from a variance of 2, to a variance of 1.5.
PyroRe-implemented ammo sputter, now shoots 2 flames instead of 1.
Reduced the amount of afterburn time flames add.
Reduced maximum possible duration of afterburn.
Reduced max DPS of afterburn.
Reduced flare based damage, from 30 to 26.
Reduced ammount ammo flares use, from 35 to 20.
Reduced ammo cost of airblast, from 40 to 35.
Removed flame and flare penetration.
Flares do 35 damage to sentries.
SoldierReduce RJ damage, from 30 to 25.
HeavyRe-implemented ammo sputter, now shoots 2 bullets instead of 1.
Increased HP by 25.
Intel reset timer will now charge while eating.
DemomanIncreased the range at which mines can pop bubbles.
MedicChanged heal ramp: time is not a factor; if the target's HP is below 1/3, the heal rate is 1 HP/s; the normal heal rate is 0.8 HP/s.
Uber charging rate is a flat rate.
Self HP-regen changed, from 3 to 5.
EngieIncreased sentry's damage per shot, from 8 to 8.5.
Reduced the randomness of the speed of bullets from the shotgun, from a variance of 2, to a variance of 1.5.
SpyReduced the lifetime of shots from the revolver by half, thus reducing its range.
Reduced the intel pick-up delay when uncloaking, from 0.8 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
SniperIncreased damage from an un-scoped shot, from 35 to 40.
Reduced maximum damage from a scoped shot, from 75 to 65.
Reduced maximum charge time for a scoped shot, from 3.5 seconds to 3 seconds.
Q/CIncreased bubble damage, from 0.75 to 1.
No random chance of projectiles penetrating bubbles.
Bubbles pop on collision with spies.
Game-modes:Fixed capping speed on Arena, it is now a flat valve, not based on the number of players on each team.
Generator now has its original settings, no shields, health increased from 2100 to 4000.
Reduced the time before being allowed to pick up the intel again after dropping it, from 10 seconds to 2 seconds.
Changed overtime mechanics in CTF back to the old ones, as long as the score difference is not greater than 1 and someone is carrying the intel the game will be in overtime.
Intel reset timer now charges with a flat time, not based on movement speed.
Intel slowdown now only applies to scout.
Mechanics:Ready-up system, the game will be in permanent freezetime until everyone has marked themselves as ready. The host can skip this, either manually or automatically.
Removed spy ghosts.
Players can now RJ/DJ while being ubered.
Removed rocket fading, they now disappear instantly.
Speed from a RJ/DJ can be preserved by using the queued jumping mechanic. Each successive jump reduces your speed by half of difference between your current horizontal speed, and your normal non-RJ/DJ maximum horizontal speed.
Fixed classlimits, you will now cannot be assigned a class that is full, although this may still happen if players change team.
When a spy stabs the range of the stab is shown.
Graphical:HUDImproved all game-mode HUDs (excluding Generator):
--CTF: Reduced size; intel reset timer is shown more accurately; arrows now point with the origin from the player, not from the HUD.
--CP Modes: Full countdown until unlock is shown; current capping state is shown more accurately, time in seconds left until cap, % of capping done, and the sprite is more accurate.
Added an outline to the lock sprite to make it look better on the HUD.
Raised the height of the intel reset timer drawn above the player, so no healthbars are on-top of it.
Moved the player counters on Arena to be next to each other.
Sniper charge HUD is smaller, more accurate, and transparent.
Fixed bug with the Sniper charge HUD being displayed wrong.
Fixed the Sniper full charge sprite being too low.
Reduced the size of the HP HUD.
Improved ammo HUD: smaller; always has a healthbar showing the current reloading time and numbers showing the number of shots in the clip.
Ammo healthbar showing the ammount of ammo left in the clip is shown above the character.
Uber healthbar is shown above friendly Medics.
Arrow drawn over Medic's current heal target.
Exact HP number shown underneath the healthbar, this can be moved to the left side or turned off.
Removed scoreboard fading.
Better text colors on the scoreboard, and your own name is drawn in a different color.
All players' pings can be seen on the scoreboard. Due to the way this is implemented, it can only be seen while the player is alive.
Timer is not team colored. Might change this, so tell me what you think of this.
Option to change the maximum number of items shown on the kill-log, and how long they linger for.
Option to remove the background from the kill-log.
Option to not show the HP and/or ammo HUDs.
Stats board is shown with the scoreboard.
Damage indicator. Currently only the one I have created for this mod, but planning to add other damage indicators later.
OtherExplosion animation better matches the range of the explosion.
Removed letterboxing while spectating.
Small FPS and ping display.
Sniper laser will always fade, regardless of particle settings.
Spinjump particles will always be shown, regardless of particle settings.

Fixed the window position being bad when changing from fullscreen to windowed.

Drunken Steve always wins...Improved TDM, "borrow" some changes from INS mod.
"Stop-watch" mode for ADCP, both sides play the map, the team with the best time on the map is the winner.

Add sprays, limited size e.g. 8x8 or similar to the size of the cursor. Poses security and NSFW issues.
Add a thing to show the HP of the person that killed you. While this could be considered to be kind of a cheat, you can get the same information from the kill-cam, so I'm not sure on this.
