Welcome to cp_scrap, my experiment in all the new (or not so new anymore) features of Garrison Builder that I never used, namely:
  • Moving platforms
  • Dropdown platforms
  • Parallax layers + foreground
  • HD scaling

Have a quick tour:

id make the wall mask darker cause some areas are confusing to decide if its wallmask or background, like i didnt even know there were ladders. But sick job

I'll increase contrast between the dropdown platform parts and the non-dropdown platform parts. Anywhere else that's confusing?

One way doors, why

Mmmph this is another biggie especially for BLU.
I'll remove the one way doors from BLU's first spawn. The reasoning for their original placement were to prevent the defenders from hiding from uberbursts when getting pushed back, and to avoid spawncamping RED's final forward spawn. Though now that I look at it, those don't seem awfully gamebreaking.

I'll add steps to the right side just like on the left side. The lack of stairs were to prevent a possibly very frustrating sentry position, but perhaps I was underestimating how effective a good push is.

Any other concerns? Also, should I increase the width of the final capture zone?

The last cap is pretty annoying to do as a single, and effectively makes backcapping impossible.
Making it wider should help because it's pretty tough even if you know how to work the point.

If you wanted to prevent a sentry camp position, what about making an additional stairwell to the right side of the pit that dumps people back on the right girder?


The big white BLU fortress should be more blue, I kept trying to enter it (and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people also tried) because it doesn't seem like a spawn point.

Contrast increased on dropdown platform parts
One way doors removed from BLU's first spawn
Exit added on right side of last point pit
Last capture zone widened
Added RED and BLU graffiti to the spawn foregrounds
