TOURNEY CHALLENGE #2: "The Inevitable One"
Win the tourney to get a prize.
Good news everyone! Our bookkeeper (have you stabbed him yet?) has recently come across a stash of weapons in our inventory. Some of the elders among you may recognize these old toys, the randomizer mod weapons. Let's test out how usable these old things still are, maybe we'll get a secret weapon to use against Sale. As always, let's throw a bit of friendly competition into the mix. A prize for the tournament winner!
Be aware, Mercantiles, the team format for this tournament will be a little bit different than what you are accustomed to. Make sure to read it and ask any questions you may have.
- We will be using the final build of randomizer mod for this tourney.
- Signup at the IRC (
Find it here.) will end at 2:30 PM EST for the 1st showing. Signup at the IRC will end at 6:00 PM EST for the 2nd showing. Remember, the channel is #RAYBANN. So far, we're looking at Saturday, August 1st for the date.
- Teams are instantly randomized in IRC once the deadline is up. Players will be split into two teams. After the match, the losing team's members will be eliminated and the winners split in half. The two half-teams will be populated by the losing team's members. The winning teams will continue to be split in half until only one player has not been eliminated, the tournament winner.
-You are allowed to pre-set your loadouts. Please do so before the tournament begins. Failure to do so may result in you having to do it on the fly during the match.
- Eliminated players are encouraged to stay and enjoy the games, after all, when is the next time you will get to play randomizer with forumers?
- The tournament host will randomize the teams. (via random.org/lists)
- In the case of an odd number of players, a tourney organizer will sub in until we can find someone else to play.
- This tourney will try to finish in 1 day, so matches are done in a quick format.
- The healer's holy water is banned. Anyone caught using it will be disqualified. All other weapons are fair game (be wary that the stucky charm is buggy).

Tip 1: Randomizer mod is based on an older version of GG2. It may be wise to become reaquainted.
Tip 2: This begs repeating: eliminated players should stick around and help populate teams for later rounds. This way, we can have larger, more robust teams.
