these would not work for teamdoors because you would need teamblockers in them anyway, just like tf2

I can see solid animated doors being useful elsewhere though. non-gimmicky sightline blockers.

That gate is really just an animation (a foreground entity) that only plays when a player is near, it doesn't have anything to do with a spawndoor.
I could make walls that aren't solid when someone is near but isn't that a bit gimicky/not worth it?
you would have to make them not react to players of the other team in that case?
Meh the enemies usually don't come so close to the spawn doors and it would require loops and stuff to detect the team of the closest player.

Ok I'll make bullet walls that become non-solid when someone is near.

It's not quite usable yet because I'm still testing stuff but here's something I've been working on.

arrow keys / mouse over the edges of the screen to move. It works in chrome and firefox, don't open it in internet explorer :)

I feel like no one would post in that :P

I've made a new webservice thing similar to itemserver but for maps. It's meant mainly for serverhosts because it allows them to download premade maprotations as well automatically downloading maps. I also made that mapviewer thing so that it allows you to explore the map without having to launch the game and it makes parallax maps look a lot better.

I will eventually make a post in the plugins section but that'll have to wait for ggon/ggb2 to be in vanilla

the service technically doesnt need to use ggon and might even be faster without it but lorgan felt the need to make it complicated

Update: Added terminology, notes and simplified everything.

Unless I'm mistaken, that is automatic. However the location to be where the FG fades is a bit finicky. Usually your point of origin (Gun axis) has to be under the FG for it to fade away (EDIT:But it's not entirely gone, it's still slightly there on top of your class)
