Derpduck: I mainly made it to get more EU players to play together and join the forums. Like there isnt really much more than that, just a

B.illy S.O.D.: How does it feel to be the leader of one of the most succesful and long lived clans?
Derpduck: Lol. We lost a war to Dan's clan. I can never say we were successful.
Meow: Come on, we had secretman playing for us. There was a reason we lost.

Derpduck: I wasn't around for that war.
Meow: How many iterations have you had? How differently did each team play?
Derpduck: What do you mean by iterations? do you mean like the players in the teams?
B.illy S.O.D.: Yea. I think you've restarted comp teams a few times for [LoRD] right?
Meow: Original [LoRD] team still da bess.
Derpduck: Well, it's normally just whoever can show up. But a lot of our better old players don't play anymore. I guess the people that are
more used to playing with eachother like me, Meow and Orpheon generally work together better. And then you have Arctic and apparently Secretman playing for us because Orpheon will just let anyone in while im gone :^)

B.illy S.O.D.: Okay then leol. What do you think is the secret to the longevity of [LoRD]? Any advice to other leaders on how to retain their member's interest in their clanss?
Derpduck: Just never admit that your clan is dead
Meow: Get other people to run your clan for you :^)
Derpduck: Maybe Orpheon taking over for a while helped -- yeah, lol. He didnt even want to be in the clan when I was first making it
Also, I think having a lot of the member regularly talking to each other is good. Quite a few of our members used IRC regularly and played on servers run by our members together. Your clan wont last very long if no one is talking or playing with each other.
Meow: Any tips you could give to newer clans in terms of starting one? terms of comp?
Derpduck: Have at least enough members for a team before you start a clan. Being able to work together well while picking classes and playing really helps if you want to actually win. It doesn't really matter so much if your members aren't that good or they're new. You can work together and get better at playing comp through experience.
B.illy S.O.D.: Are there any things that irk you in comp play? Things to gameplay you would change?
Derpduck: Gamebreaking bugs from untested updates ruining wars :^)
Meow: Use of nfa_transition. Fuck that map.
B.illy S.O.D.: killbox + endorund = best transition
Derpduck: Also problems with lack of hosting tools in vanilla really slowing things down. There's nothing about gameplay that I would really change, I like the game as it is
Meow: Except pyro being useles....
Derpduck: Pyro sees more use than sniper
B.illy S.O.D.: Think pyro is more useful now tho with the damage buff. But u know, not as good as the core classes.

Meow: Anyway, before we derail, what is your best accomplishment in [LoRD] over the years?
Derpduck: Making Dan leave the clan.

Derpduck: I still don't know what EE is because I didn't have internet when it was made and died I think.

Derpduck: I think it was rigged because I was on blue for 6/7 games and hippie was on red for 6/7 games.
