Reload animations

Sometime ago when my recoil/firing animations were added, I made a set of reloads to accompany them but were never added. I'd like to see them get in this time around.

Revolver, 22 frames:



Scattergun, 8 frames:



Shotgun, 8 frames:



Sticky Launcher, 8 frames:



Rocket Launcher, 12 frames:



Medigun, 28 frames:

Medi gun doesn't have one because I figured it would conflict with the beam orientation but I can whip one up if that isn't a problem
There's always the option of changing the point from which the beam is drawn. It already comes from the tip of the gun rather than the center of the medic--I don't see why it couldn't come from the tip of the gun while reloading.

This probably would work as soon as the reload buffer timer hits 0

Would be awesome to see these get in game. Add spent cartridges to scattergun reload?

also heres the other reloads animated, they don't look quite as stellar as the revolver but that's because none of them are revolvers

the medigun one could just be a slowly spinning cylinder or something

Solly's elbow has a frame or two where it looks weird

I think there was discussion in IRC about having a rear loading canister reload for the needles. Either that or 'jamming a needle into the front'

had an idea about this once where, after engie finishes loading all the shells he puts up the shotgun, puts his hand over the pump and kinda slides it down then puts it back into normal position if you know what im saying.



would that be possible?

for clarification, venomous means that "badass-action-movie" thing where the shotgun guy holds the pump with a hand and jerks it vertically to cycle the shell.

the only issue i see with that is what if you're aiming upwards - the animation would be horizontal and not make much sense.

They're cool and all, but lack of these animations brought a small extra layer of skill, or knowledge rather, especially to 1 on 1 fights.
I think.

Also, spy still has his left other hand on the body sprites, so don't forget to edit that out.
