you're using a plugin that screws with it then. If you have the thunderbolt pressing the super button will trigger no matter what.

Rifleman super does almost the same thing as the infiltrator or firebug's super except way the hell slower, in a smaller area, and much easier to avoid. Not saying it's weak, far from it (between the slowing effect if someone's dumb enough to walk into it and the damage, it's an easy kill for the rifleman) but that it's not very useful unless the terrain already favors you, which is where rifleman really doesn't need the help.

I'd say increase the area of the energy snare (which is what I am calling it because that is cool) to twice the size horizontally. It's significant enough that the snare will actually do stuff, but it's still a technical super ability, which it should be because rifleman.

Also, is there a chance of the source being released soon, or will that be after the Haxxies are done?

you mean the spy that has a gimped stab the spy that leaves ghosts effects when uncloaking, the spy that also uncloaks when taking damage thus the shield completely acts as an anti spy.

also having it deploy behind the person makes aiming it hellish you're better off looking behind deploy then continue being a loser camper sitting on a single spot missing all your shots moving in CQC because sniper doesn't need distance to kill.

it's not only a slowing field it damage anyone who gets caught in it.

well I feel it's best to look at Raelynn her playstyle and countless guides on how to play her in Awesomenauts to understand the main purpose of the trapper.
then again Awesomenauts is a MOBA so this would fall in line with say, then again then again even Raelynn's trapper deploys faster than the snipers and her trapper was kinda made to stop ai mobs from taking the objective... which is destroying enemy turrets. then she has loads of gizmo and addons that effect her charge rate or shots... also uses a pistol as a side gun.

pretty much the trapper is made for Randomizer sniper who more or less figure out some way to exploit it. like shoot at  your target if you don't kill the target once he starts coming in midrange you pop the trapper and back up and ready another shot.

wow look at all the cool stuff you can do with it, shame this plugin doesn't have any upgrades.

that actually wouldn't be too stupid, like press button, shoot, deploy slowing field on the next surface you hit if you dont hit a target
whether it be upside down, horizontal, or standing up it would work
because currently it has pretty crappy range and is only good in CQC

just googled swiggins if lorgan didn't give Sniper a hookshot then I guess it's time to slap on RJ_sniper plugin to simulate the full swiggin play-style.
