Derpduck's Server Mod

Post detailed/useful description of issues or I will not look into them.

Features:
  • Console, allows for many useful host options. Opened through the in-game menu or with F2 by default.
  • RCON.
  • Auto-updating to the latest version of DSM. Also shows a percentage instead of a random time for download progress.
  • Optional DSM HUD improvements:
      -Current cap percentage shown on CP gamemodes.
      -Full countdown until unlock timer shown on Arena, KOTH and DKOTH.
      -Remaining HP and shield numbers for Generator.
      -Improved Sniper scoped HUD.
      -Improved Medic radar sprites.
      -Amber warning level on timer.
      -Remaining number of bullets for heavy is shown.
      -Medic ubercharge number shown.
  • Player statistics are tracked (can be disabled).
  • Press ctrl on any 2 stats in the stats menu to find the ratio between them.
  • Show currently loaded plugins in Main Menu and In-Game Menu.
  • Lorgan's stats board is built in.
  • Optional coloured projectiles.
  • Customisable text colours
  • Customisable menu backgrounds.
  • View the lobby from the in-game menu.
  • Built in ping display.
  • Built in FPS display.
  • Fixed screenshots not saving when the current server name contains characters reserved for file paths.
  • Ping is aqua in lobby for pings below 75 to help better identify low ping servers.
  • Custom entities that can be used with this version of Garrison Builder. Code can be added though plugins. Entity sizes are: standard box, 1x1 pixel box, vertical and horizontal line.
  • Fixes errors caused by using certain commands commands in the latest version of the chat server-sent plugin.
  • Sniper laser will fade regardless of particle level.
  • Automatic sprite and sound replacement (place files in the "Custom" folder. '.png' for sprites, '.wav' for sounds).
  • Airblast sprite does not disappear when it collides with walls.
  • Option to display HP numbers by health bars (centered or to the left of player).
  • Option to show ammo bar shown above HP bar.
  • Option to disable the Kill-Log, or make it semi-transparent.
  • Option to display a respawn timer (DSM or vanilla).
  • Option to disable intel arrows on CTF gamemodes.
  • Option to draw arrow above Medics' healing target.
  • Option to start with the first map in the rotation when randomising it.
  • Option to disable sound panning.
  • Option to show assists on the scoreboard.
  • Option to automatically show the scoreboard when dead.
  • Option to show information about your killer.
  • Option to skip the faucet logo.
  • Option to set uber bubble button (mapped to 'R' by default).

  • Message of the day in host options, you can change the repeat time and disable it by leaving the message blank.
  • Option for countdown theme during adcp setup.

  • Can see all raybann badges.
  • Fixed bug with damage indicator where being healed by med cabinets or medic would prevent damage numbers from being displayed.
  • Option to disable corpse tracking.
  • Able to reload the map rotation from file while in-game.
  • Fixed physics of sentry gibs.
  • Uber bar displayed above medics (tied to ammo bar option).
  • Notice display is more transparent and fades faster.
  • Ping graph.
  • Option to use old medic targeting code.
  • Option to change damage indicator color when using DSM damage indicator from the OP.
  • Press "Z" key while spectating to remove letterboxing and show all players health bars.
  • RCON IPs are saved to file, after being registered for RCON one time you will be automatically logged in upon connecting to the server
  • Added restart game option to main menu


Plugins can be used to add console commands by using the "console_addCommand" script.
Plugins go in the folder "DSM_Plugins" to avoid conflicts with vanilla.

      -Console/chat logs should now be created at the correct time (on your own disconnect), and when the game is quit through the ingame menu.
      -Fixed chat not starting idle countdown on initial create.

      -Remade DSM chat in a different way, hopefully this eliminates the consistent crashes related to it. It's still functionally the same, but some small features may be missing (e.g. chat logs).
      -Option to use old medic targeting code.
      -Fixed error when not using DSM chat.
      -Used a much smaller sound file for the countdown theme sound, reducing file size by ~5MB.
      -Fixed intel arrows when using the arrow origin from player option on specatator team.
      -Option to change damage indicator color when using DSM damage indicator from the OP.
      -Press "Z" key while spectating to remove letterboxing and show all players health bars.
      -Removed DPM birthday message.
      -DSM birthday message now disappears after joining a server.
      -Fixed mine flash animation on 60 FPS.
      -Fixed alternate rocket particles on 60 FPS.
      -Fixed stats board being in front of the scoreboard, seen when many spectators are in the game.
      -Name sanitisation fixes from latest update.
      -Timer rounding fix from latest update.

      -Removed autokill command for now since its not doing what its supposed to and requiring a server restart to fix
      -Fixed crash with "chat" plugin due to naming conflict
     

DSM Plugins:
Use this to automatically run console commands on startup.
A version of Vindicator's damage indicator with a few extra functions from newer versions of damage indicators.

Any changes with the dedicated mode? That would make a server run faster, more fps, less CPU/memory usage, things like that.

                                                            ^
at position 59: Variable name expected.
The statsboard is built into the mod. Many plugins are.

  •   -Moved DSM respawn timer forwards so that it is not behind weapons.
      -Added an option to make the kill-log semi-transparent.
      -Fixed a bug where creating the ping or FPS displays before global.isHost is defined (by using the autorun plugin) caused an error.
      -Sprite loading sets the correct hitbox for sprites.
      -Hold down the space bar and drag with M1 to move around smoothly while spectating.
      -Option to use the old autobalance rules, except autobalancing in exactly 10 seconds.
      -Can view stats in the in-game menu.
      -Accuracy is now shown to 2 decimal places.
      -Option to propmt replay naming.
      -In-Game time recorded in stats.

If anyone wants to fix replays they can give it a try.
