The lag is tremendously noticeable since the new update. Even some hosts lagged.


That has nothing to do with the update. Your internet connection is just terrible.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. execute_strings on fire off the shoulder of Overmars. I watched object-beams glitter in the dark near the room_goto_fix. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears...in...rain. Time to die.

Hmm. Must be. I just thought it was the update because before I updated it was fine, and now it's terrible.

Well, other people were lagging hard aswell, so I thought for sure that it was the update.

It's not just you. I get frame drops even as host of a server (which is strange since it has never happened) and playing on non-laggy US servers which used to run very smoothly... :z4:

sometimes when i'm playing, the fps drops from ~30 to something in the twenties, like 24. This lag really sucks  =/

if you're getting framerate drops please post the CPU usage of GG2 while it's lagging and your CPU model as well

He speedhacked it since so it wouldn't be as slow, but I expect it still takes more CPU cycles.

Because "fixing the old collision-code" means replacing the parts of it that don't work, and that's what "rewriting the collision-code" is.
