Partially implemented: GG2 2.7 supports more aspect ratios, but still uses GM's awful upscaler. It looks GREAT if you're on XP, though. There's almost nothing we can do about the aliasing when we upscale, unfortunately, because game maker.

wait it looks good on windows XP?
which ratios?
and when?
i don't see any "great" aspect ratios.

windows xp upscales gm games with a soft interpolation thing for some reason
vista and 7 don't, it's really annoying, you get this extra aliasing because of non-integer upscaling ratios

I know, and it's a real shame, too. Now people who can't run W7 will have to run Vista or Linux, even if that won't do the job for them. Terrible decision, really. #msremakexppl0x
