Because GG2 looks bloody awful when sized up for full-screen, and it's not my fault that my TV has an awkward res (1360x728).

Widescreen support is going to increase horizontal resolution at the expense of vertical resolution. Do you support?
I'm not going to implement widescreen support in a way that makes 4:3 mode inferior.

But seriously 2:1 is too much, 16:9/10 is okay I guess but still jarring.
