Good things tend to take a while, but if we are stubborn enough, we get there eventually. Finally.
In this spirit, ladies and gentlemen, and in our longstanding tradition of April 1st releases, I present you the Finally Update (click for poster), otherwise known as Gang Garrison 2.5.

We have been working tirelessly until we tired, to finally bring you these fine features:

  • Finally added class limits (by Orpheon)
  • Finally fixed going down stairs (by jaxof7)
  • Finally added rewards for the 2012 Haxxy Awards (by MedO)
  • Finally made autobalance actually work (by ajf)
  • Added server-sent plugins (by ajf)
  • Added recoil animations (by NAGN and others)
  • Added automatic UPnP port-forwarding (by NAGN)
  • Modified CTF win conditions to make stalemates and overtime more rare (by NAGN, MedO, Wareya and Psychopath)
  • Made various balance tweaks (by Wareya)
  • Updated dkoth_sixties (by Ozoh) and ctf_conflict (by Agh)
  • Added automatic player tracking when spectating and click to change tracked player (by ajf)
  • Prevented cloaked spies from going through solid objects (by Wareya)

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. execute_strings on fire off the shoulder of Overmars. I watched object-beams glitter in the dark near the room_goto_fix. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears...in...rain. Time to die.

I've only experienced class limits and player tracking so far but I've totally fallen in love with this update. A thousand  :c1: for the coders and those involved to make this update possible.

Player collision is gay

spies are now invisible walls
heavies can block otherwise usable escape routes for scouts
impossible to get around an engi between shots for a backstab

Remove player collision please

Collision is massively fucked up.

The new heavy sandwich is op in the right hands lol, pretty much sustained myself off one life for one whole round

Does anybody else have it to where if they try to make a face all they get is  :x11: ? Or is it just mah cruddy laptop?

last year gg2 had problems around the same date, someone was hacking people CPU, maybe the hacker is doing it again?
