Another try at making an official GG2 trailer [SEARCHING HELP]

Team Fortress 2 Trailer 2


It doesn't look easy and it isn't either, but it should be possible with a community as large as ours and a tiny bit of time.
The ideal objective would be to replicate this trailer gg2-ified both close to the original and looking somewhat good.

What we need is pretty much everything, from ideas to script writters and from modders to art people, and of course diverse volunteers ready to gather to record it if we ever get so far.

I did a bit of describing of the first scene (the engie, 0:00 to 0:44) here.

Discussions on IRC brought several other points I'll try to summarize here.
    - Make dead body momentum work and maybe even work better than it should.
    - Make bullets much much faster than in gg2 right now, because of heavy scene and because it looks better (especially with a good muzzle flash).
    - Decrease hp/raise movement speed.
    - Constant zoom, about level of killcam, so that movement actually makes everything seem hectic.
    - We'll need a lot of animations, possibly even custom ones (sniper stab, rocketmen jumps).
    - The question of sound and music and sound effects is completely open.
and maybe a few others I forgot.


We need a lot of help from a lot of people here, atm especially writers and artists. Also anyone else having experience with this kind of thing is welcome, never made a trailer myself so yeah.
Oh, and maps. We need maps.

We can do that "Engineer places sentry" in randomized..It looks much better.

Or just use the sprites, if whoever made them doesn't mind.

Well because the scripts have to be made before everything I think I can help at that..I'll write one today cuz' I have some free time and I'll post it so you may review it..

If the ganggarrison one isn't working try the normal esper chatroom, or even get a client.

Depends for what, but we'll need lots of both. Animations are preferred, as they usually look smoother.

Scene 3 (Sniper)
-Close-up on the sniper while he looks through the scope.
-Framework on the ground (maybe some "through the scope view" video editing) First aiming at blue soldier that runs out of sight ,then aiming at blue shooting heavy. A blue pyro is facing the other way (maybe he can move a little so he doesn't look like an afk).Sniper shoots heavy in the head (heavy dying animation)pyro turns around.
-Close up on pyro looking up at the sniper.
1:14 - 1:26

Should I make all of them?..Asking because I don't wanna do it all and "throw it at the trash".
