I didn't delete anything of the original GG2, so this could (hint) be added to vanilla version easily.

Well.
Actually. Nope.
Except scout's, whose does less damage but swings faster (in theory)

Then maybe you wouldn't mind if I suggest some attributes?

Shovel: Moderate damage, speed and range; [has a 10% chance to do 2x more damage?]
Axe: 1,5x less damage; moderate speed and range; burns enemies on hit for 6/8 seconds
Bat: 2x faster; 2x less damage; moderate range
Fists: 2x slower; 2x more damage; moderate range
Sword: 2x more range; 2x slower; 1,5x less damage; damage rises with kills (1 kill: moderate damage; 2 kills: 1,5x more; 3 kills: 2x more)
Wrench: moderate damage and speed; 1,5x less range; [lets you build a 10-second life-time dispenser for 50 bolts?]
Bonesaw: Moderate damage and range; 1,5x slower; M2 or Taunt heals everyone nearby for 60 HP (?) for 3 seconds(?), heal range could be the length of a point in Kistra.
Kukri: Moderate damage, speed and range; bleeds enemies on hit for 3/4 seconds (basically half of the afterburn time of the axe)
Knife: 2x less damage and range, 1,5x faster; [backstabbing by pressing M1 while cloaked is faster than normal?]

So what the hell did you do, then?

*Fixed Kill Log icons; they should work properly now
*Nerfed the Overweight's damage - since he has so much hp
*Nerfed the damage of all classes
*Made the Runner swing his bat faster
