If I had to really pick 3 ponies that would need/I really want them to have a return cameo would be: Trixie,Zecora,Moar CMC
Oh god why lol, trixie doesn't have an amiable personality, zecora is practically background, and cmc are hnnngggg.....

I don't know about Rarity though. Her personality is certainly funny, but unlike the other characters who eventually display personal strengths, Rarity is for the most part portrayed as vain. Her "strength" moment could be considered the episode with the diamond dogs, but even then she wins through exaggerating vanity (complaining harder)...
(List of names below, not really a spoiler unless you don't want to know of the existence of characters lol)
Speaking of which, have you noticed that all male presence in this show has been portrayed as unintelligent or evil, or otherwise portrayed negatively? Snips and Snails are very dumb, the evil dragons, the stuck up Wonderbolts, the pegasi who mocked Rainbow, the prude guests at the Gala, prince Blue Blood, the Hydra, the list goes on...
The only exception would be Spike, but at times he shows stupidity and often prone to jealousy. Beside that, he's always begging for approval and attention, he's Twilight's bitch essentially.
Although to come to think of it, I suppose this isn't very different from most American cartoons (atleast the ones back in my day).
