ITT: Games that deserve a sequel
« on: February 12, 2011, 04:57:10 am »

Some games back then were sometimes filled with awesome to the point that you want another sequel of it. But it never came to be.

Of all those games I love, I should pretty say it's this one.

No explanation needed, if you know the game already.

Care to elaborate? I have no idea what that game is about and I prefer a funny review from a friend than a cold wikipedia page.

We need more of these games who not take themselves too seriously but not in the "lol let's break the 4th wall every 15 minutes" way

Also something that resembles football instead of unbalanced future sport things like in this game's sequel

I'm not sure about funny, but okay. It's an old sidescroller shooter game (no bullet hell) with pretty cool graphics, unique mecha designs (none of those generic humanoid crap(with the exception of Ausf D Duerer)), the ability to equip weapons in three (default) ways, AND AWESOME MUSIC.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

After the release of Conker's Bad Fur Day, Rare began production on a new Conker game initially named Conker's Other Bad Day, but may have been changed to incorporate a subtitle, 'Getting Medieval'.[19] In 2002, Microsoft purchased Rare from Nintendo, so instead of finishing and releasing the game, Rare remade Conker's Bad Fur Day for the Xbox, naming it, Conker: Live & Reloaded. On September 16, 2008 it was announced that Microsoft cancelled the game Rare was working on, and in a later interview, some of Rare's staff members hinted at what might have been. Online petitions are set up to try and get the sequel created.[20]

I just hope that those petitioners still care before I sign.

Kojima keeps teasing a third installment, but we just keep getting more Metal Gear

Hopefully he'll work on it after Metal Gear Solid Rising
