Anybody who reads the DS thread knows I'm in love with 999 right now.

I love it when intense shit happens:

Call me a nerd but I pretty much memorized the soundtrack for the original Sonic games, I guess if you don't include Sonic CD for some reason that too. Also Metroid Prime has some pretty good listens, but that's just blatant favoritism. I really liked Advance Wars' soundtrack as well (excluding DoR because I like to go out for ice cream after war, fuck realism). And I guess there's no music generated by a Golden Sun game that just doesn't sound good. Eh, I guess as a side note Kirby music is a bit simple but maybe I'm good with that? Oh whoop almost forgot to give a blatant fanboy jerk-off to PC Cave Story's music.

Now I know that all that is stuff I play, but I'm no stranger to hearing good music in games I'm not attached to. If I had a better memory, I'm sure there's some games I could have been sitting around watching while saying "That's some pretty fucking awesome music"

Also forgot to say the first time Popple appeared but that's not a whole soundtrack so meh
I memorize every song from any videogame I play, but also from every one I watch, even a single time. They call it musical memory or something, I hate people talking in songs because they ruin the harmony most of the times and I can't memorize lyrics because I put instruments as priority in songs.
Plus, I can also whistle to them with the utmost precision after hearing them a couple of times.
Also, I still don't get why people don't like Epic Mickey's music. It's pretty cool, especially if you like old cartoons. My favorite has always been "Thru the Mirror", so I memorized the tune after only half of it had been played (though it's very similar to the original):
Disney Epic Mickey Music Extended - Thru the Mirror
Yes, I also put the autoreplay function at a 15 minutes long loop of a single song.

And I still can't make music or even play an instrument goddamit.

Hey Meower, as a musician I have the same ability. I can memorize a song if I just listen to it once or twice. I always remembered video game music from when I was a kid too. I recently picked up an old game (Megaman battlenetwork 3) and haven't played the game in ages. Once it turned on I was able to hum to the tunes of everything as if I never stopped playing the game. Glad to know I'm not the only weird one with that ability  :c1:

That's so good to hear that I'm not the only one being able to do this, it feels lonely as hell to be able to hum and whistle and tap with your fingers and clap to music and symphonies while all the others down here like house music.
We should be musical-bros :3
Acid should be our bro too

Because a lot of the songs in the Super Smash Bros soundtrack are remixes of old songs.

Old good songs.

The ability to recall something when you hear it again. Truly outrageous.

No one said those weren't allowed. They're still awesome.

No man, it's not that common
In fact, I cannot memorize what other people say. It bores the fuck out of me. Reading their words is so much easier.
Try listening to the ending credits of Super Mario Galaxy two times, recalling them from beginning to end and hum or whistle to them. Not that easy, but not for me.

Also I should totally get up and go get 999. Problem is I gotta know when the exams end.

Also, since you guys mentioned Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - I'm A Spy... ...For Security Hall
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - Bright Sound ...For Dry Lagoon
Rouge's levels have soundtracks that remind me of softcore porn for some reasons. I remember there was a video with two joke comments on that and they were hilarious.
