Dead Space Trilogy
« on: January 01, 2011, 12:33:05 am »

I just recently downloaded the demo of Dead Space 2, and it is amazing, a bit challenging, I guess, but still fun.

Dead Space and Dead Space 2 isn't really scary.

I don't know why people are so freaked out by it.

What was that one reviewer who said that he would be having nightmares after seeing a "mother cradling a baby necromorph"? That moment was more funny that scary. Especially the nursery level where cute smiling suns pop out and go "BRAAGHGH".

The only part of any of the Dead Space games that scared me was when the necromorph pops out at you from behind your chair.

Being surprised from a jump scare isn't being scared. It's being startled.

Scary means a feeling of strong anxiety. Not something going "BOO!".
