Actually, I stabbed a person while wearing a santa hat and took their party hat.

Personally, I believe getting hats through stealing from players and completing objectives is the nice way; it's just "play the damn game."

The only hat I got was the Party hat and I don't care much for this mod.
Those posts just goes to show why people are obsessed with hats in TF2  :drool:
It sucks that it takes a little to load to wear a hat after completing something and the fact that you lose your hat when you quit :(

Good job guys for working on this but I don't like it because I can't live without chat :P

Hats are retained. If yours is missing maybe someone stole it, or maybe you just don't see the hat because you're playing on a server that doesn't support hats.

Edit: There are twelve days of Christmas, so everyone should have plenty of opportunity to play with the hats. If you get fed up with the hats sooner than that you can just join a Vinmod or 2.2.3 server and play without them.
