Alternate Weapons Mod (Build 3)

Picking up where Colton left off.

So myself and Orangestar decided to revive this mod.

The current build is the exact same as Colton's, with bugfixes to port to GM8.

The Shovel, Equalizer, Bottle and Eyelander used to do damage. Check the old thread to find out why they don't now.

It creates a virtual LAN between everyone in the network so you don't have to port forward.

I know they used to, I'm only outlining what they do currently, which is no damage.

Melee weapons better have a huge range, otherwise they're useless.

One thing about the Direct Hit, can you make the rocket smaller? This way it will be harder to hit anything, but every hit equals to an helluva lot of damage.

Was the fan supposed to do knockback? I only noticed the extra bullet when using it.

Also fix the DH to do normal self damage, right now you can rocketjump and only lose 6 health. Fixing weapons switching would be nice too. Not sure if it's just me, but when I scroll, the weapons switch really fast and it's hard to get the right one. And half the time the unlocks go back to default when I spawn, but you could fix that by switching weapons. A problem with syncing maybe?

It does. Of course, you'd probably have to be right up in their face.

Yes, we all know that. The weapon switching problem is something to do with lag, as I hadn't figured out how certain things were sent to the host from clients, but not sent back.

It might be syncing but I think that it's because of this reason.



So go to your mouse thing and set that to 1 every time before you play. :hehe:
