A note about setup gates
« on: July 04, 2010, 10:48:27 am »

They're in the 3 cp section of the builder instead of the normal cp section. As of now in order to use them you'll need to use free mode. I'm posting this for those wondering where to find them, since they're only in 3 cp and not normal cp.

Wait, what? Don't set-up gates automatically make a mode A/D? Or am I reading this wrong?

They do, but to those looking to find them in the CP section of the Garrison builder will be sadly mistaken. This means you can only make 5 cp maps in cp instead of that and A/D cp.

Can't 3 Stage A/D also make single stage?

That's not the point of the topic. It's not about what can and can't be done. The point of it is that the setup gate isn't in the cp section, just the 3 cp section and the free mode.

They're already there in 3stage cp.

...

How would I make a 2 stage a/d map with 5 control points total, other then free mode?

And actually I have compiled with free mode but I keep getting bugs that prevent me from playing the 2nd stage, so I'm starting to think the only way to successfully make it so the 2nd stage it playable, would be in cp mode rather then free mode.
