Ness is the best character, I don't really see the difference between him and Lucas to much though. I hate the brawl story, and how they put the main theme in every single song

Melee is much faster, which is why I prefer it.
And Ness and Lucas are immensely different, Lucas relies more on Psi powers and has a weak down smash, which changes how you play the character a lot.

Down air, my bad. It's been a while since I played.

His DAir is for damage building but kinda leaves him open.
Just use RAir for knockback.
