WHAT IF... I implement it before you? :D
I was the one who implement Escort, complete with full Client-Server syncing, a special version of Garrison Builder, its own kill log messages, custom map elements and more!

It's more or less in Beta. Only. Sprites are custom, as are the weapons (partially) and the nades. The interface is still the same like in GG2. But I am sure we will change that in future.

That's not a GGC issue. That is a general GG2 issue. Also we haven't a clue what's gone wrong there.

Easy fix: create the controls.gg2 file if it does not exist when running game_init.

No, no. Forget it. The problem was someone set up a bad server. Trying to enter it won't do a thing, but if you try to enter it and then try to host your own... KABLAMO!
