The Sega Nomad. It was a portable Sega Genesis. I loved this thing as a child. Too bad it required a shit-ton of batteries and the batteries ran out quickly.

The game gear needs 4 AA's but it lasts for days.

I think the Nomad needed around 4-6 AA batteries and it lasted for a couple of hours (exaggeration). D:
The Nomad came with a wall recharger though, so it was a better, smaller Sega Genesis. :D

the gba. it had a bunch of cool games, introduced shoulder buttons into portable gaming and basically what sony made their ps3 from. also graphics were much better on it then gameboy and it could play gameboy and gbc games aswell.
