Doesn't windows already have a built-in Registry editor?

If it does, it probably sucks. Because if it didn't, there wouldn't be registry cleaners all over the internet.

Well, no. RegEdit is fine, if you know what you're doing. A registry cleaner is $22.98 for a down-to-user interface. Which may fog over some of the details like "Yes, this is an important registry entry, but if you don't delete it and just clear it, it will regenerate"

I use CCleaner as well.  I'm not exactly an expert, so I couldn't tell you how it compares in performance to other registry cleaning software, but it's very easy to use.

The safest, most reliable registry cleaner known to man that doesn't bs you with trial versions constantly. CCleaner saved my computer so many times.

Its good Im using it too, just be sure to check before you delete everything (useless registry stuff is sometimes something you might still need) and adjust some option (maybe you dont want your browser cache do be deleted etc)
