wouldn't a simple hitline from the owner to the rocket be enough to determine if he wants to shoot through a team door(or a wall)?

Maybe this helps:
Throughout my spiel coding the 2.3 beta, I corrected a bug where the rocketman could fire through thin solid walls.

It was a success but I forgot to add conditions to check for special entities.

It'd be very helpful if I could have a list of all entities that should not be able to be fired through, this includes the team specific special entities. For example, it might be ok for a rocketman to fire through a thin team door if it's his own team's door but not fire through the enemy's team door due to non-matching teams or just not fire through thin team doors all together.

could it be possible to make a new entity in the spawn room that disintegrates/destroys/deletes explosive weapons projectiles?

 when the rocket would be in the spawn, puff!!!!
  it would just vanish in thin air. with out harming anyone.
 in tfc, if you throw nade in some maps spawn rooms it disappears.

could that be possible?
Fix the problem at the source, not a cheap cop-out

Has this bug be talked about before and is it fixable?



Rocket Man able to shoot thru the other teams spawn spots this happens on normal client and beta (all maps)
Map bug, team doors aren't think enough.

You can shoot in base and run backwards -,-
