It's a shame her English teacher has that speech impediment where he uses terrible grammar

Once apon a time,
There was a man with but a dime
Who was always a good fellow
And had commited no crime.

Yet despite of his nature
And his enlightening smile
The town members treat him
like he's a pedophile.

Too tired, write more later...

Well, don't really expect anyone to read the whole thing. But here's my CLAST essay and piece about my favorite place as a child (hey, I didn't get to pick the topic)...

When I was a child, my family traveled to an assortment of locations. In our travels, we saw many new places, things, and people. But, no place ever quite entranced me like Cape Cod, Massachusetts. During my summers spent visiting my mother's hometown of Provincetown on Cape Cod, I was exposed to the Portuguese community and later, the artists community. Even today, as a young adult, my childhood visits have held a profound effect on me, shaping my current interests and perceptions.

Provincetown, Cape Cod is located in Massachusetts, on the outer tip of the Cape. Becuase Cape Cod is an island, it's towns have always attracted seafaring people, and Provincetown was the first destination for many of the earliest settlers, including the first Pilgrims. For the past 200 years, Portuguese whalers and fishermen have made this region their home. My grandfather was one such fisherman, his own father having coming over from Portugual as a child. And it was on these visits to Provincetown that I would get a taste of Portugal. From visiting with my grandmother and her Portuguese household, to the annual blessing of the fleet and Portuguese festival, I was given a foundation for an appreciation of the food and culture. Today, I incorporate that influence into my life and cooking style, and feel am able to feel connected to my extended family.

In sharp contrast to the traditional Portuguese population, was the community of artists, writers and bohemians that fled to Provincetown, beginning that the turn of the century. Henry David Thoreou, Ernest Hemingway, Tennessee Williams and Norman Mailer were among the writers who had a penchant for Provincetown. In the 1960's, a rush of hippies and society outcasts flocked to Provincetown, embracing the already flourishing creative town as their home. From there, Provincetown gained a reputation for being a well-known Gay, Lesbian, and Trans-gender society as well.

My time spent in the veritable melting pot of performance artists, painters, poets and drag queens was astounding. Besides opeing my mind and widening my perceptions of people, I had the privilege to grow friendships with such characters and hone my own artistic skills, even at a young age. Today, I owe much of my current personality and creative interest to time spent in that remarkable town by the sea. And I know that no matter where I go now, these experience will carry on with me and continue their positive impact.

Starting sentences with "but" and "because."

Also, "because" spelt wrong.

Pilgrims spelt wrong too.

So many things spelt wrong.

Near-perfect grammar usually means that you have no spelling mistakes, your only problems are in tense switching/subject agreement.

Conclusion:
