Ive been writing again, and alot lately. Most is for school, but some is actually decent. I'll post my most recent short story tomorrow. Poetry is welcome and appreciated as well, mine wont be seen here, though.

Written about/for my girlfriend, after a rough spot in our relationship. It has a lot of song titles/lyrics worked into it.

How can One be so perfect, yet so flawed?
A perfect being,
Caring, Loving, Mature.
A perfect match,
Wishes and desires.

A flawed ideal,
Purity, Priority, Youth.
A flawed Love,
Hurting as much as it helps.
Missing One inside of me.


My Love for You, a Double-edged Sword,
Gives me Hope, Courage and neverending support,
Cuts deep into my heart.
It wounds, it scars,
Tearing me apart.
Yet it grows ever stronger.

I stagger on,
This force of nature holding me up
And pushing me down.


Stare into my eyes,
Look upon my soul.
Which of me do You see?

Hunted.
Feelings deep inside
Eating away
Causing Decay
Never safe.

Hunter.
Feelings deep inside
Chasing Dreams
Hope it seems
Never safe.


Lost without You,
Lost even with You.
Neverending battle.
Groping, gasping, through a
Labyrinth of Sorrow.


You make me Alive.
Here I live, breathing, feeling.
But the dead have no feeling
Of pain, of sorrow.
Now who is better off?

In comes the pain.
Down, down
Your tears
Fall like rain.
Soaking me to the core,
Bones chilled, gasping for air,
Hypothermia sets in.

Sheer cold.
Depression, sadness, fear.
All of these you give to me.
Neverending Love.

Sheer Joy.
Happiness, warmth, Hope.
All of these you give to me.
Neverending Love.

Why must this emotion
Be a maze of complex feelings,
Twisting, turning,
Winding, binding.
Getting lost within myself,
Will You be the Light that finds,
And bring me home?

The fire burns within You.
Share it with me,
Create sweet harmony
Song of healing
Soaring over to me.
Ray of sunshine,
Your smile.
Ray of Hope.

Through suffering,
Through struggle,
Through strife.
One Champion stands.
Ready to strike down my fears,
To settle my uncertainties,
To pamper me with Love
To want me
To need me
To Love me.

Sweet, tender Loving care
Adopting my body
Nurturing my spirit
Detaining my heart
Yet giving me hers

Longing, Loving, lamenting
Opening her mind and spirit
Never forgetting
Gives me all I need.
