And cspotcode, can you change the respawn room entity into no-build zone and change the size? It was also discussed.
What we can do is we can make separate masks for everything like water, respawn rooms, no build zones, frag zones, hurt zones, and it will save a shit ton of time.

Do you realize what this means? I doubt you do, so I'll explain it in a special lecture!

We already have those the sprites need editing.

He's actually talking about having multiple walkmasks, but rather than telling us where the walls are, these masks tell us where water is, or where engineers are allowed to build.

Another option is to have resizable entities.  The game would spawn these entities by creating a new blank sprite and setting the collision box to the size of the entity.  That way the Garrison Builder could allow you to drag a big box over the whole respawn room and label it a nobuild zone.

That would be great! I'm going to find the actual collison box for no-build zone entity and make a new sprite. It'll be up tommorow.

I got impatient and did that myself.  42x42 pixels, and it says "No-build zone."

I'd be happy to throw in your sprite if it's better.

Also, new release is out!  Download now and tell me what I did wrong!

If Garrison Builder was modified such that "open-air entities" (spawn rooms, capture zones, kill boxes, and frag boxes) could have dynamic dimensions (click on your desktop and drag the mouse around to get an idea of what I'm saying), there'd be less entities that would be compressed.

EDIT: what I talked about could potentially be applied to the door/floor entities (spawn, team, bullet, player, intel carrier)

Another option is to have resizable entities.  The game would spawn these entities by creating a new blank sprite and setting the collision box to the size of the entity.  That way the Garrison Builder could allow you to drag a big box over the whole respawn room and label it a nobuild zone.

It would be easier/better to do multiple wallmasks.
