It's annoying as hell right now. It moves player to the other team in any moment (I just got moved while healing heavy right at enemy intel).

In my experience, it usually moves the player at the bottom of the score chart.

Ok, but it could move this player after he dies, right?
Or it could move any player who died while teams were unbalanced.

The fun part is, when two or more people leave your team, it doesn't happen.

This is a fun, bug-free system.

You think you were defending because they cant be bothered to attack you, knowing they will die.
What map was it?
Bet it was classicwell.

Regardless of this, autobalance should still be tweaked.
