Not Responding on startup
« on: November 04, 2009, 08:14:37 am »

I start the game from the Gang Garrison 2.exe.  After it plays through the Faucet intro, I get a black screen and '(Not Responding)' but I still get music.

I'm looking forward to playing!
Any help is appreciated.

I have gotten the same problem, and have been following the instructions that have been said in this topic, but I too, have not been successful in fixing it.

It will play the Faucet intro, but it freezes after you click or let it finish, and in the least, it will play the 8-bit music of TF2. Just as he described it.

I would really like some help on what I'm supposed to do here. Does this have something to do with the latest update? If so, I have had been using the updater program, as well as been downloading the latest off the downloads list. I'm out of options that I could think of. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problem. But it was fixed when mrfredman gave this link.

See if it works. It worked for me.

Eh, apparently is something else, because I deleted the old GG2 and downloaded the new one, ran it.

Same thing.

Game Maker doesn't like some versions of Windows, what are you running?

I'm using Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. But I have been able to run it before as of lately using the same OS... but now I can't play it anymore.
