Can't update gang garrison

Even when I download it from scratch it always makes me play the older version.
Can anyone help please?

Yeah I can't update it either! I tried deleting the whole thing off my computer and re-downloading it, but that didn't work, in fact it said the file was corrupt/infected.

Oh good. I thought I was the only one who had this problem.

Yeah. I can't play the game either now. I got a virus warning from the update so I deleted the file. My virus scanner is...well scanning as I type this.

I'm having the virus problem as well. I tried updating GG2, and my anti-virus put the stop on that.

It is showing the threat as "Trojan Horse Constructor.EAK"

I downloaded this game a few days ago, the files were clean then.

It was posted elsewhere that the devs are working to solve the issue with the antivirus software in question.
They are aware of the problem and will have it fixed asap.

For me, I just get "An unexpected error occurred when running the game". I can't play, same happens with the gg2updater.

My anti-virus doesn't detect any Trojans in the new version though. However, I still can't play. Same difference.  =/

I am Carribea Viking. I Carribea Viking only Evil and things I will Own. However, being a Carribea Viking, I must hire Bodyguards. Two of my Bodyguards weren't Carribea Vikinged - Own instead - but One was Carribea Viking. The One and one of the Own Bodyguards - this Own Bodyguard is a Liberal In Every Way, so he doesn't want to be Hired - find my Carribea Viking Stash are weed out the bad. Some things near my Stash are Original or Liberal In Every Way, and they are all Safe. My Not Liberal In Every Way Own Bodyguard found this, and started Screaming At Every Person On My Ship That It Was A Red Alert And That It Was To Be Destroyed Before The Ship Lifted Anchor. I killed him.
