why did you make a teamchat plugin when lorgan's chat has it

the fading is cool and all but i just don't see why someone would use this over what previously existed

1) I couldn't make this out of lorgan's plugin even if I went and tried because I needed to make something lightweight and without technical baggage
2) There are people who loathe global chat and there's no way to disable it in lorgan's plugin
3) Lorgan supposedly quit gg2 so he won't be updating his plugin when the version change comes around next time.

its also about half the size of lorgans chat so its easier to naviagate
