Aim using arrow keys


USE YOUR KEYBOARD TO AIM AND FIRE


This plugin allows you to use your keyboard instead of a mouse to aim in game.

Press left, down, right, up, or a combination of these to move the cursor around your character. You can choose which keys to use in the plugin options.

Pressing such a key also acts as if you were pressing the attack button. You will fire your primary when aiming. You can disable this feature in the plugin options.

To access the plugin options, press ESC in game and click Plugin Options, then Arrow aim options.


FEATURES
 - Aim with keyboard (enabled by default)
 - Select your keys (arrow keys by default)
 - Fire at the same time (enabled by default)

INSTALL
 - Download the attached "arrowAim.gml" file
 - Place this file in your Plugins folder, in your gg2 directory



WARNING: This plugin COMPLETELY REWRITES PLAYERCONTROL's BEGIN STEP event. Therefore, there is a very high possibility of incompatibility with other plugins that use that event.
You could be fine though if this plugin was the first one executed in your plugin list.

first off, the fact that the plugin name starts with an "a" makes a plugin conflict less likely so theres that, and is this supposed to be like cavestory aiming?

Well, arrow aiming is better for precision and stuff. Like a game of Worms. But GG2 isn't worms and I'm sure I won't be able to reflex shoot, this is why I use a mouse and keyboard, instead of a controller.
I'm not going to even begin ranting about how this could be a disadvantage...

Actually I used the plugin (lol) and it's really not accurate
It's direct aiming, somewhat like in Cave Story
But making it work like Worms would actually make it more accurate... thank you for the advice, I think I'll do that
