If I remember correctly, every update will slowly bring gg2 back to its roots by making it less and less like tf2. Look forward to that.Next update will make the game as balanced as possible by introducing Cannonballs as the only weapon. And to make it more realistic, your corpse after death will still be able to jump and shoot.

dominations was scrapped due to vindi not fully finishing the build by the deadlineThe only stuff that remains in the source is logging it in the kill feed and stat tracking. The rest of the domination code made up like +90% of what was needed. The kill feed addition is really easy once you know what you're doing and stat tracking was piss-easy to do as I was doing it for the other stats.

The flamethrower got a complete overhaul. Flames at the base of the stream are ridiculously powerful, while ones at the end aren't. They have falloff. Yes, GG2 has falloff now, even if it's just for a class where it actually makes sense.wat

What exactly is the formula for afterburn calculation?There is no strict formula for it, I'll try to recall as much as I can.
Collision with flames will increase burn duration a fixed amount
Collision with flames will increase burn intensity an amount determined via falloff
Burn duration is straightforward, length of burning.
Burn intensity will stay at a certain value for x frames after contact before diminishing to 0 after another y frames.
Both duration and intensity have caps, they cannot increase infinitely.
If either duration or intensity reach 0, they are both zeroed out.
To find the damage dealt over time, you need to understand calculus in order to integrate the functions (after creating functions, of course)
yeah the numbers are comepletely new so it's hard to determine whether or not it's a straight buff or a straight nerfI'm pretty sure it's a nerf at least when it comes to killing low-HP classes, because the damage doesn't scale up enormously in the first few frames anymore. Having said that, I've been playing it a lot and have been doing pretty well despite the fact that I keep forgetting that the flareblast exists (:z4:), while at the same time the pubbies are finding it a good bit harder to rush in and get easy kills, so overall it's actually turning out to be a good balance for the time being.
KOTH just might be the best gametype so far, honestly.

With my shitty connexion, whenever I change a map to a custom one, I see last map background and the game freezes. If I try to "Disconnect", it bugs but if I choose to "Quit Game", no problem.I have the problem too...

NO. I posted this already before 2.3.1 patch/update. It was "fixed", but it wasn't fixed. So I am reposting, since nothing has happened yet.
