I have a Sun Fire v880 in my bedroom (6 ultrasparc iii cpus and 12 gigs of ram) and a HP ProLiant DL320 with a Pentium D 3.2 and 2 gigs of ram, with a 20 down 5 up connection that doesn't go down for more than approximately 10 minutes worst case typically, and we would be willing to host it for you guys.
In case of "pics or it didn't happen." I am providing pictures to the v880.

It could be a shitty server.I'm running GGForever off my 1mbit upload capacity, which with the 24 players I'm allowing is maxing out my connection. Is it playing pretty lag-free for everyone when it's full?
GGForever and Bacontown are both good, along with Bassland when he hosts.
Or try turning off particle effects.

It's great and all that you're doing so, but I won't see any incentive to play in it unless I see something worth playing in. Y'know, custom/classic map servers, or maybe some new rotation. The default one is getting old, fast.

I just realized it'll take awhile for custom maps servers to become popular. After all, the average Player has probably never experienced gameplay outside of TrueFort, 2DFort, etc. Maps such as Bluplex by The Noob seems to mess with Players' minds. THEY DON'T FREAKING REALIZE THAT ON BLUE, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DEFEND, NOT ATTACKThen we should fix that shouldn't we? Perhaps a way to explain what certain maps do and what you should do when playing said map.

Actually, cspotcode and I thought of using the blackboard presented at the team select screen to function as the chalkboard in TF2 (the mission briefing). It's not my fault, I rigged up my laptop first, then I realized it lagged REALLY bad when hosting, so I port forwarded the best computer I have. It's still a damn Vista though. D:
Anyway, got it done. Static IP, port forwarded, totally streamlined with the ipconfig and shit, and finally added 2 router-side firewalls to keep the /b/tards out once someone puts this on 4chan. >.>
