We're very late with this, but I have realized that not many people know about the gg2 blog as it's never been really announced.

Here's where this idea will die because no one will do any work BUT HEY who knows, maybe someone will step up to the plate:

If you guys want to make the blog look nice, make some CSS for it.  The Wordpress theme we are using is called Sandbox (http://www.plaintxt.org/themes/sandbox/).  I picked it because it is extremely skinnable using only CSS.  Go to the blog (http://blog.ganggarrison.com) and view the HTML source.  You'll see tons of nice id's and classes in the tags, great for CSS.  And up top is a <link rel="stylesheet"... tag referring to the style.css file.  You'll see all the default values and, at the very bottom, all the stuff I added to make it look Gang Garrison-ey.  Tools like Firebug (Firefox (http://getfirebug.com/) and Chrome (https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/bmagokdooijbeehmkpknfglimnifench) versions) can be used to edit the CSS on the fly in-browser and see what happens.  And of course, you can save the blog and the style.css file to your computer and edit in your favorite text editor all you want.

You act like we're obligated to implement the requested features.  :)  Remember you can add them yourself and submit a patch.  If the code quality is good enough it might get included.  This does NOT mean that we are obligated to include patches, either.  It just means that if you want something to happen, you can't really complain unless you make an effort to help make it happen.

EDIT:  I realized that I might seem angry in this post.  Sorry if that's the case, I didn't mean to sound hostile.  But yeah, as they always say, "Patches welcome!"

Yea, I think the blog is dead for now. We just changed our service package with the company we used to host it at, and it isn't something we are paying for any more. I can perhaps see about getting it transfered to our new host at some point.
